Finding Love in Unique Places

I spotted an article on Yahoo today about how some folks met in unique places like the ski slopes, on an airplane or even at the gym. The article made me smile as I thought of how John and I met back in 1997. We met online…Yahoo! Personals to be exact. Yep, all the way back in the 1990′s when internet dating was rather Taboo.

When I used to tell the story, it was often met with a Really??? But wasn’t that scary???. Nowadays people just say, “Oh my sister met her husband that way” or “I’m dating online now too!”.
